De-Addiction Centre, all under the auspices of The Kalgidhar Trust Baru
Sahib, came together to mark the International Day against Smoking with a
grand rally and street play. The event aimed to raise awareness about
the harmful effects of smoking and promote a smoke-free environment.
The rally, which took place on [Date], witnessed the participation
of 60 enthusiastic students from Akal College of Nursing, along with 10
dedicated staff members from Akal Drug De-Addiction Centre. Carrying
banners adorned with powerful messages against smoking, they marched
through the streets of Shimla, including Mall Road and Lower Bazar,
covering the main area of the city.
