The News 18 Punjabi organised a special event on October 25, 2024 to
honour prominent Punjabis in recognition of their distinguished services
to the society in various fields of activities. This prestigious media
channel honoured Dr (Col) Rajinder Singh, Director, Akal Drug
De-Addiction Centres, among others, as the distinguished veteran
psychiatrist for his exceptional contribution in treatment and recovery
of thousands of patients suffering from drug addiction in Punjab and
Himachal Pradesh. Mr Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Speaker Vidhan Sabha, Punjab
presented the honour on behalf of News 18 Punjab, along with Special
Guest celebrity playback singer Sukhwinder Singh and Jagmeet Jammu,
Regional Head Network 18.
