On 26 June 2026, marking the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, The Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib, through its network of 121 Akal Academies across five states of North India, successfully organized a landmark nationwide anti-drug awareness campaign by attempting the World Book of Records title.
Largest Number of Schools Simultaneously Forming a Human Message Against Drug Abuse
"WE ARE DRUG FREE"
At exactly 8:00 AM, a total of 15,024 students simultaneously assembled in their respective school playgrounds to form the human message "WE ARE DRUG FREE", collectively pledging to remain drug-free for life.
This synchronized initiative promoted awareness, prevention, and youth empowerment against substance abuse while demonstrating the strength of value-based education and community participation.
