Admission policy

A patient will have to remain admitted for a minimum of four weeks preferably for treatment.

Discharge before the mandatory treatment period shall only be allowed in emergency cases.

Paid Admission Fee shall not be refundable in any case. Admission Fee shall also not be refundable in the event of the patient discontinuing treatment midway.

The admitted patient shall have to wear the prescribed uniform, after getting himself/herself frisked.

The patient cannot keep money, jewellery or mobile phone with him/her.

The patient shall bring with him/her the essential items of daily use like soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, oil, undergarments etc.

It shall be the duty of the patient to keep and maintain the cleanliness of the ward.

The patient shall not change the allotted bed number or ward as per his/her personal wish.

Loose talk and misbehaviour with other patients and staff members is strictly prohibited.

It shall be the duty of every patient to maintain the sanctity of the Darbar Sahib within the campus of Centre.

It shall be mandatory for the patient to take part in prayers, meditation and simran one week after his/her admission in the Centre.

It is important to maintain cleanliness and sanctity in the community kitchen hall (Langar Hall)

The family members of the patient shall arrange to provide a sober attendant for the care of the patient, if required.

The authorities shall not be held liable for any eventuality/accident happening to the patient as a result of craving due to drug addiction, or owing to symptoms of mental illness or during any undesirable situation.

It is very important for every patient to get himself/herself examined at the Centre for follow up on the time/day prescribed for him/her after discharge from the Centre.

Advice of any other expert medical doctor shall be sought in case of presence of symptoms of disease other than drug addiction. If need be, the patient can be advised to get done the Lab Test/CT Scan/Ultrasound/ ECG etc. The family members of the patient shall co-operate in this regard.

The patient who flees the Centre premises maliciously shall be allowed admission after submission of an Affidavit again within three days, otherwise fee shall have to be deposited afreash thereafter

Exclusion Criteria

Refusal to comply with admission procedures, resident rules, programme schedule, and recommendations.

Alcohol Liver disease with complication as ascites, variceal bleeding, malnutrition.

Extensive ulcerative lesion because of intravenous drug use.
